I stayed again at El Cantil and started doing so ~ 20 years ago! My scuba group found a lovely and hospitable accommodation renting a unit at the building. We have stayed in 2, 3 and 4-bedroom units (depending upon how many divers make the trip) and enjoy the proximity to everything. Also, Claudia has been taking care of folks for decades and it's always great to see her! She was a big help, too. A few items to improve: 1. The blind hanging on the front window was busted and could not be kept in the 'up' position. 2. My group does a lot of cooking (primarily by me!) and although there were many dishes, pots, pans, utensils, etc., there was only a single Pyrex. Do you know how difficult cooking in the oven is with just a single Pyrex? 3. We stayed in a 3-bedroom and two out of three bedroom safes were inoperable; the team eventually fixed one but having an operable safe in each bedroom is important as it gives the occupant peace of mind... 4. There are two (2) dunk tanks on property. The south tank has a working valve when closed, would fill the tank with water. However, I was unable to locate a similar valve on the north tank. Did I miss it? I am returning to El Cantil over Christmas Break this year with my family and look forward to introducing them to Cozumel. Thanks, Michael
