Check-in is simple… before arrival you will receive the property address and your door code by text or email. At check-in time, go directly to the home, enter your code, and settle in.

📩 Registration and On-Site Security

El Cantil has 24-hour security. For everyone’s comfort and safety:
• Only registered guests are permitted on-site
• Security may request photo ID upon arrival
• If you are expecting any visitors, please message us in advance so we can advise what is allowed

🔁 Cancellation Policy

• 100% refund up to 90 days before arrival

🧴 Starter Supplies Provided

We provide starter supplies to help you get settled. For longer stays, you may need to restock.

Bathroom and personal care
• Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap
• Toilet paper… 2 rolls per bathroom

Kitchen and cleaning
• 1 roll of paper towels
• Kitchen trash bags
• Dish detergent and rags
• All-purpose cleaner

🛏️ Linens and Towels

We provide all bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen linens.

• Beds are freshly made with a sheet set, blanket, and pillows

• Bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths
• Hair dryer

Kitchen
• Kitchen drying towels and cleaning rags

🍳 Fully Stocked Kitchen

Our kitchens include the essentials for cooking and dining:
• Dinnerware and drinkware
• Utensils and flatware
• Pots and pans
• Baking pans and sheets
• Blender and toaster
• Basic kitchen tools

Please note: We do not provide groceries… plan to bring or purchase your own food items, seasonings, and coffee.

☕ Coffee Maker

Coffee makers vary by unit. You may find one or more of the following:
• Nespresso
• Standard drip coffee maker
• Keurig

We recommend bringing your preferred coffee, pods, or filters. If you have a preference, message us before arrival and we will confirm what’s in your unit.

🚗 Do You Recommend Renting a Car?

El Cantil Condominiums
El Cantil is close to restaurants, shopping, and most amenities. Many guests use taxis and rent a car only for a day trip around the island.

Yes, we recommend a car. The home is approximately 20 minutes from downtown, and a vehicle makes exploring much easier.

🫧 Hot Tub Cleaning

• Cleaned after every stay
Our hot tubs are emptied, cleaned, and refilled with fresh water and bromine between guests.

🔇 Quiet Hours and Respect for Neighbors

To keep El Cantil peaceful for everyone and avoid HOA issues:
• Please keep noise to a respectful level, especially in the evenings
• No parties or events unless approved in advance

🚭 Smoking Policy

• Smoking is not permitted inside the residence or in any common areas.
If smoking is allowed on your unit patio, please keep doors closed and dispose of items properly.

🛠️ Maintenance and Help During Your Stay

I live on-site at El Cantil and I’m available to assist with questions or issues during your stay. Please message me any time if something needs attention.

For emergencies… call local emergency services first, then notify me immediately.

Important HOA Note… Poolside Setup Requires Approval
Poolside hibachi dinners require HOA approval. If you want poolside service, please tell us in advance so we can request permission. If approval is not granted, we will coordinate an approved alternative location.
